U.S. Senate candidate Cori Bush a crowd favorite at NAACP candidate debate

COLUMBIA – The loudest applause at the Columbia chapter of the NAACP candidate debate on Tuesday erupted as Cori Bush, a U.S. Senate candidate for Missouri, pronounced her stances on public schools, health care and the death penalty. Bush, who was an activist in the Ferguson protests, said the school-to-prison pipeline is the most pressing issue in the country.
